Update: Cinematical has gotten word from Disney that the music tracks going around on YouTube are actually fan-created fakes, so we took that down. No word yet on the six tracks below, though it seems they may be legit. Thanks to my man "Tomathy" for the heads up!

If you're a fan of electronic musicians Daft Punk, then you've probably been itching to get a listen to some of their sounds from Disney's upcoming TRON: LEGACY.

And if so, you're in luck! Tracks of the French duo's music from the film have recently made their way online, and now we have them for your aural pleasure.

In the music player below, you can listen to six great score tracks, and in the video player below that, you'll find a preview compilation of various music featured in the film. All excellent stuff.

TRON: LEGACY opens everywhere December 17th.

2:40 seconds and on of track 1 require a change of drawers, especially in the teaser.. and as for favorite film music, danny elfman owns and so does john williams.

BTW, my favorite film music is probably either Hans Zimmer's score from Gladiator, Philip Glass' score from The Hours, or Clint Mansell's work on either Requiem for a Dream or The Fountain. Best recent score I heard is Hans Zimmer's for Inception. This Daft Punk stuff sounds incredible, though. Can't wait to get the full score :)

I like daft punk alot and I think this is a great score. Am I the only one who loves the fact that this score sounds just like a score from a 1980's action movie!, especially track 3 witch is my favorite one. Track 2 would have been my favorite one but it is the second best.

Good
Big fan of Daft Punk, they have their own sound and its good to tap your feet to. As for Tron, I dunno, the music from whats posted here seems rather tame to what they usually do, but i'm sure when its put to the visuals of the movie, it'll be great, good to see them coming back, they seem to have been quiet for a while. Anyone interested in what Daft Punk can do movie wise, should check...

Anyone interested in what Daft Punk can do movie wise, should check out the animated movie 'Intersteller 5555' a movie in which Daft Punk collaborated with a Japanese anime director and they produced the whole sountrack for the movie. The movie itself has no dialogue, and the story is told intirely by whats going on visually and the style of music, its quite amazing. The whole sountrack for that movie is Daft Punk's 'Discovery' ablum.

Pretty good, but it would have been nice to have these clips in a player without the waveform visuals. Music just isn't as exciting when you know how and when it's going to change in advance.

not a fan of daft punk
but what we got here is awesome. there are some bands that shouldn't make studio albums and should do movies scores. after this i think daft punk is now added to that list.

Finally
I think that Daft Punk has been ready to score films since they formed as a band. I think the music they have put out in the past is catchy but too repetitive-which parlays into film quite nicely.

That youtube link is almost definitely NOT from Tron. There isn't any overriding theme to any of the music. It sounds like a mixtape. There are SO MANY of these up on youtube purporting to be from Tron and almost all of them have turned out to be fake. I buy the six tracks on that first player as it all sounds like what we've heard in glimpses from the trailers and such. That...

I am so friggin stoked for this movie. Seriously, this could end up being one of the "Coolest" movies ever. As for Daft Punk (whom I love), sounds like they're going to do a perfect job. Track 5 sounds like it's going to accompany something EPIC!

I'm still waitinng for someone to pinch me.
A Tron sequel!? AND Daft Punk doing the soundtrack!? I kept waiting for the rug to be pulled out from this, but I can't tell you how sweet this is. I need this soundtrack in my car. It'll make my drive to work slightly epic.

While down at Comic Con, Daft Punk came in and played at a little bar called the Air Conditioned Lounge out in North Park on Sat. night. One of the most kick ass experiences ever! the place only fit about 150-200 people and no one knew they were going to be there. I've got pics and about 20 minutes of video. Can't wait for the movie and the music!!
