I think Thoo just writes from memory and does no research AT ALL.
Thoo just tries to think of witty, long winded space filler lines, like the "sex with mermaids" bit to flesh out the articles.

And The Little Mermaid DVD sequel just came out, James Thoo - do you do any research before you type these articles up?
Michael Keaton was in CARS, as others who posted here have stated as well. This is great news that Pixar is having him back - I too hope to see him in more movies in the very near future.
As for Slinky Dog, they have many options. They may just not have him in the movie. Would it be horrible if they cast someone else to do the voice? RIP Jim Varney, but it is not like someone is taking over the Ernest character... |

I thought about Keaton in Cars as Chick as well - that would be awesome if he was playing a Ken/arrogant character like in Cars. He's a perfect foil, and given the premise of having Barbie injected, I'm wondering if its going that route - I can see Andy's toys dumped in a playcenter and finding themselves having to fit in with the more popular toys, maybe like a theme about cliques which would be a sensible direction to take the story following the messages of the first two. With Buzz getting down to earth, they need a Chick Hicks-like character to mix it up some more. I'm really happy about this project, because over the past few years I've become very affectionate toward what Pixar does. (ah, parenthood...) |

Keaton played Chick Hicks in Cars. He was awesome and made a huge impression on John Lasseter. I'm sure he's made his mark as a go to guy for Pixar.
If you watch cars again just listen to Chicks' in your face ravings, you can just picture Keaton in the sound booth going nuts. |

I like how Pixar is continuing the Story of Andy's inevitable growing up to be a man and going to college phase and not just going allong and making an another day at Any's room kind of film, I like how Pixar takles dificult situations in their films and yet end up making them work, I can't wait.
Nice to hear about Keaton's addition to the voice cast, He's an awsome actor and I hope this brings him back to making films again.
Extra Tidbit: Jodi Benson voiced Ariel in the new Little Mermaid III DVD, for the third time, not so sure if she did Mermaid II, but she probably did. |
