DICK GRAYSON TIE-IN WOULD BE OKAY WITH ME
im all for Dick Grayson being in these movies. Maybe not as Robin but hell yeah bring in the parallel character. The only thing is, Bale is a little too young of a Batman to have Grayson around. Not to mention he hasnt dealt with enough villians to really have lost his mind. What you gotta understand s that Grayson is the character who sorta brings an insane Bruce Wayne back to his sences. It would be cool to have Wayne sorta lose sight of why he became batman in the first place and sorta hell bent on flat out revenge rather than cleaning up evil. enter the grayson circus plotline and you could have a very dramatic story. I dont get why everybody has it out for robin though. the man behind the mask is just as interesting as Bruce Wayne |

There is no point in defending Robin, because he is one of the worst comic book characters...EVER!!! |

DICK GRAYSON
is a character who faces tragedy and overcomes, like Bruce Wayne. Miller is writing an interesting take on it in the comics right now, All-Star Batman & Robin, The Boy Wonder. If Nolan sticks to his instincts and keeps Robin out, it's the right call, b/c Batman needs to be older before he mentors a protege. my 2 cents anyway... |

I trust Nolan to the end but the Gotham city he envisions seems to brutal and far too dark to include boy wonder. Also it would be a bad idea to raise the ante with his sadistic take on the joker only to follow that up with a storey of a poor orphan who learns to fight. If your going to give Batman help give him Catwoman. She can simultanously survive in his Gotham and save her from the claws of Halle Berry. That way Nolan can be accredited with saving two franchises. Also Bob Hoskins for Penguin is that still on the table? |

Okay, father-son relationship. No Robin. Street kid meets Forbes 500. I can see that one working. Forget the hero angle, "Batman Begins" wasn't cool because Batman was cool, but because people liked the Bruce Wayne character. Make us like Dick Grayson, and then problem solved. |

There's hope for Robin.
Now if only Christian Bale would stop being such a diva (no romantic comedies, no Robin...waah-waah-waah...), maybe they'd be able to throw Robin in at some point anyway. |

I think Dick Grayson as Nightwing would work better because of the way his suit looks. It looks darker and more fitting into Nolan's universe. Maybe in the fourth one have it take place 3 or 4 years afterthe third one and Nightwing is already established. So flahsbacks of how he got there (started off as Robin, then decided to be his own hero) That might work. Jason Todd would work also but only if they used the Death in the Family storylin, which has Joker rigging a warehouse with explosives and murdering him in cold blood. Of course, we'd need a recast. but maybe after the third one and they start thinking about a 4-6 it will be okay to recast him. |

I agree with on the Bane part. It would actually be cool to have the Knightfall story in Nolan's Batman-verse, but I think that having that as a thrid movie would really be too soon.
I think I remember a story on here saying that Nolan himself wouldn't direct any more Batman features after 3. but he would possibly continue on as Exec. Prod., which would be great. |
