Last good r rated movie he did was Life. It's like as soon as he did Raw and put out vampire in brooklyn and BHC III, he wanted to do family stuff. I remember Delirious and Raw and BHC I and II and stuff like that. i don't think that eddie can do it anymore. that's just me though |

I think this movie being bad or good will depend on Eddie Murphy's performance more than what Ratner can come up with. Murphy was definitely the main entertainment in 1 & 2. 3 just felt like no one was on the right page. |

Ratner picks up red dragon, and it's the weakest of the Hannibal trilogy. Ratner picks up X-men 3, and it's the weakest of the x-men trilogy. Ratner picks up BHC 4, well, i'm sure you see the pattern.
As blsnychapter said, the "part 4's" haven't been great; and i think i'll take my chances with the new terminator over this. |

I have high hopes for this movie. I really hope it's great. I understand that being around for 25 years or more in the business and then having a family, etc might change your perspective a little bit but still, one shouldn't forget where they came from and neglect their roots. I really miss the raw, hardcore Eddie Murphy, back when he was actually funny. |
