Saw V posterage Aug. 28, 2008
Source: Yahoo
by: Omar Aviles

A brand spanking new poster for SAW V recently cropped up over at Yahoo and it's decidedly less tame and cool than the first poster. It might be the tamest poster in the franchise so far, come to think of it. In any case, the morality based torture continues in this installment, with Costas Mandylor, Meagan Good, Julie Benz, and Scott Patterson along for the ride. The torture fun continues October 24th.

SAW V

Extra Tidbit: In case you can't read the tagline, it says: You won't believe how it ends.

The naysayers are the biggest bunch of absolute morons I have ever seen in my entire life. First of all, when it comes to franchise films, why is it ALWAYS the quantity instead of quality that people focus on??? It's always "oh there's this many of this" or "that many of that." Well WHY is the series being continued? What are the stories about? What is going on within the films? Do you people pay any attention whatsoever? When people say they should end it now or that it should have ended with the third one, it just blows my mind. So basically you're saying it should have ended with an unbelievable amount of things up in the air--at that point we had no clue what happened to Detective Matthews or whether he was alive or dead, we had no clue and still have no clue YET what happened to Dr. Gordon, we had no clue (and still don't YET) what happened to Jeff's daughter, we had no clue what happened to Jeff at that point, and there are a multitude of other big things that were left up in the air. So basically just end it right in the middle of the story, who cares about loose ends, characters' fates, etc, just end it, right? The stupidity is unbelievable.

SAW SERIES NEED TO DIE, BUT FOR REAL!
Unfortunately that tagline is bullshit.

Already SAW has had more sequels in the last 3 years than Halloween or Friday the 13th. LOL damn for real.

COOL
i love the saw movies they are brilliant, they get better every time. we as horror fans should be proud to have a clever and bloody gory series of movies, no franchise does this anymore.

Agree.
I stopped caring about this after the last one...and I liked the frist three. It´s a damn shame...they should stop. ´Tis about time they move on.

PEOPLE SAY IT ALL THE TIME, BUT 'SAW IV' DID SUCK...
and I enjoyed the first three films (even the third, which was mainly just goretainment).

However, the forth film combined with its plot hole ridden script and terrible acting/characters killed much of my interest in this franchise. I might even skip this one this year to see ZACH AND MIRI twice and support Kevin Smith.

I CAN BELIEVE
I can probably guess how it ends. The fourth one was so surprisingly easy to figure out. Hopefully this one is better.

MEH
I stopped caring about the third one. And since there's going to be another one I guessing it's not ending anytime soon.
